Susan and her daughter Melissa live in the city. Susan, in her early thirty’s, with her fourteen year old daughter Melissa, occupy a second floor apartment that unknown to them used to be the living space of Rudy.

Rudy has been evicted for non-payment of the rent. He has been out of work for so long, that he has resigned himself to being one of the homeless masses that inhabit the dark corners of every nameless city, no matter what country. His place of refuge is the second floor cafeteria of an abandon manufacturing plant, where he licks his emotional wounds, deals with the fantasies that percolate in his brain and kills the rats.

Donald works for the Order of the Grand High as a procurer of channels that is unmatched in the history of the Order. Grand High Leader Robert, pays him well for the sacrificial lambs he delivers to their twice yearly Ceremonies. Donald is smooth, slick, handsome and addicted to the customized concoction that finds its way into his nose with increasing regularity. With his prowess in mind control and brainwashing, he sees Susan as a pleasurable, personal bonus and Melissa as his next victim.

Robert, as the leader of the Order of the Grand High, has mastered physical manipulation. He keeps his followers in line with occasional off the ground flights, that has struck fear in all those who have chosen to be a part of his flock.

The next ceremony is soon coming and Donald must work fast to procure the channel. Rudy needs to deal with his mental demons and get to Susan before Donald snatches her away. Robert has to figure out how to dispose of over-drugged Donald before he suffers a drug melt-down.

Coming into the plot to thwart Robert and Donald’s plans to sacrifice Melissa, are a revenge- seeking store owner, who lost her husband to the Order’s Crawling of the Worms Ceremony and a police detective buddy to a big-hearted cop who just lost his wife and daughter to a gun wielding robber. All come together in a climaxing scene that would make the comatose sit up.
